Oversight Systems
Oversight systems are the components of the care system that deal with regulating and monitoring formal services, particularly alternative care services. They include the inspectorate, responsible for inspection of services/care settings and ensuring minimum standards are met. They also include the licensing and registration system, through which organisations become licensed service providers.
