Child Care Reform is a major goal of the Regional Office's child protection work and the website contains a wealth of information from both country and regional levels. The Regional Office has also joined with the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in 2011 to issue a Call to Action urging Governments throughout Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia to put an end to sending children below three years, including children with disabilities, into institutional care. Child reform resources including reports by country is also provided on this site.
