Youth Association for Development (YAD) is a multi sector development organization with a participatory development approach to bring long term change & sustainable development in Pakistan. Child protection is one area of focus at YAD, with relevant activities at programatic and policy levels, including: political advocacy and capacity building of law enforcement institutions to prevent and respond to child protection concerns; rehabilitative shelters for sexually exploited and trafficked children as well as children living and working on the streets exposed to HIV/AIDS; and various other protective, preventive, and educational programs for vulnerable children and their families.
