Sexual violence against children is pervasive, cutting across geographical, cultural and economic boundaries. But the scale of this has long been difficult to quantify. This publication presents the first-ever global and regional estimates of sexual violence against children, revealing the magnitude of this human rights violation worldwide. It narrates through numbers the tragic reality of sexual violence, amplifying victims’ voices.
