This Training Manual seeks to raise awareness of the content of the Prepare for Leaving Care: Practice Guidance, build knowledge and skills to support young people through the process of leaving care and help trainees to understand and develop some of the tools which are helpful in the leaving care process. It was produced as part of the Prepare for Leaving Care project.
Master trainers are required to undergo a Training of Trainers before delivering the national training sessions so that they can ensure the quality of training and appropriately manage the inclusion of young people with care experience as co-trainers.
