VOICE Conference 2018 Report

PUSKAPA and the Care and Protection of Children (CPC) Learning Network

The Viable and Operable Ideas for Children’s Equality (VOICE) International Conference was an event co-hosted by PUSKAPA and the Care and Protection of Children (CPC) Learning Network, with 2018 theme: "Finding Scientific Answer to the 21st Century Challenges for Families, Communities, and Public Policy".

The VOICE Conference convened interdisciplinary experts, researchers, practitioners, and decision makers whose work intersects in public health, education, medicine, legal, psychosocial, anthropology, social development, human rights, social work and welfare, child rights, child protection and social norms changes, gather to exchange policy ideas, latest scientific findings, and programmatic lessons. Participants of the conference discussed ways to address this century’s challenges faced by children, families, and communities.

The VOICE Conference 2018 was held in Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia from 12-14th December 2018.

The three primary themes of the conference were:

  • Children, Climate Change and Migration
  • Toxic Social Norms and Values
  • Children and Technology
