The inaugural newsletter of the Global Children’s Care Reform Campaign includes updates on new Charter signatories, country commitments, technical assistance, the Children and Young People's Taskforce, and progress on the Campaign Roadmap. Importantly, it showcases that 38 countries and 137 organisations from around the world have joined the Campaign by signing or endorsing it, and 11 signatory countries have made a total of 57 national reform commitments. It also includes a reminder for partner governments to submit their commitments during the current commitment-making window, which closes on 30 September.
The aim is for future editions to feature news and updates from a wide range of Campaign partners. Partners are encouraged to share contributions or sign up to the mailing list by contacting ChildrensCareReformCampaign@fcdo.gov.uk.
