This project supports Moldova in ensuring that every child grows up in a safe, supportive family environment – by strengthening prevention, family support, and community-based care. The initiative is implemented with the support of the Government of Sweden, in partnership with UNICEF Europe and Central Asia, and by the UNICEF Country Office in the Republic of Moldova, in close collaboration with relevant national and local stakeholders, through a cross-sectoral approach that brings together the social assistance, education, and health sectors, including the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, the Territorial Social Assistance Agencies/Territorial Social Assistance Structures, as well as the structures responsible for child protection in the Municipality of Chișinău and in Gagauzia, local public authorities, social service providers, and non-governmental partners - Partnerships for Every Child (P4EC), CCF Moldova, and Keystone Moldova.
