Introduction
The national Adolescent Health Strategic Plan 2011 to 2015 (ADH-SP 2011- 2015) for Zambia, seeks to outline the strategic framework for promoting the planning, organization and delivery of appropriate, accessible, efficient and effective Adolescent Friendly Health Services (ADFHS) throughout the country, aimed at addressing adolescent health problems in a comprehensive and consistent manner. The plan was developed through broad-based consultations with, and active participation of the key stakeholders. The plan is linked to, and will be implemented within the frameworks of the National Health Strategic Plan 2011 to 2015 (NHSP 2011-2015), the Sixth National Development Plan 2011 to 2015 (SNDP), the Vision 2030 strategy for Zambia (Vision 2030) and the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
