The European Scientific Association on Residential & Family Care for Children and Adolescents Conference will be held in Porto, Portugal from 2nd to 5th October 2018. EUSARF is a body of researchers on child welfare and protection. All children All Families: Promoting Excellence in Child Welfare Research, Practice and Policy is the core theme for the XV EUSARF International Conference. Researchers, practitioners and policy makers in child welfare from across the five continents will present and discuss research data that can enhance quality in innovative practices and policies, in Porto from 2nd to 5th October 2018. Conference topics include a wide range of issues in the area, from the decision-making processes in the child welfare and care systems, family preservation and reunification, residential care, family foster care and adoption, transitions to adulthood from care, child needs and rights, minorities and special needs children. During the EUSARF 2018 Porto Conference, research and practice will be debated so as to design new studies, develop efficient practices and define policies based on scientific evidence. The Conference programme is organized with the aim of promoting discussion and exchange among participants around both scientific panels and social get-togethers.
