About the Webinar:

The recent WHO/UNICEF Global Report on Children with Developmental Disabilities provides new impetus for transforming policies, programs, and services to better meet the needs and rights of young children with developmental disabilities and their families. Country exemplars of inclusive early childhood development (IECD) will be presented to promote these transformations and foster donor commitments to young children with developmental disabilities as we strive to reach SDG goals and leave no one behind.

During this webinar, we will:

  • Provide a high-level overview of the WHO/UNICEF Global Report on Children with Developmental Disabilities and the specific implications for inclusive ECD
  • Highlight country-specific examples of integrating ECD into policies and service delivery targeting children with developmental delays and disabilities
  • Mobilize partners around a set of shared policy priorities
