The 7th Milestones of a Global Campaign for Violence Prevention Meeting - hosted by the World Health Organization (WHO) at its Executive Boardroom in Geneva, Switzerland - will focus on child maltreatment and youth violence, among other topics. The meeting will focus on consolidating global, regional and national efforts to strengthen violence prevention policies, programmes and laws. During the meeting, participants will make plans to increase action, political support and funding for violence prevention worldwide. Keynote speakers will include senior government policy-makers and world experts. Researchers, practitioners and advocates, as well as policy-makers and others with decision-making authority at local, regional, and global levels are invited to attend.
