The Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action (the Alliance) is organizing its annual meeting in Geneva on 14 and 15 October 2019. The technical Working Groups and Task Forces of the Alliance will also be meeting on 16 and 17 October 2019. The Annual Meeting is an opportunity for Child Protection actors get to come together and exchange knowledge and experience, while networking with other agencies, academics, policy makers and donors. The annual meeting represents a forum where important themes can be discussed together and ways forward can be framed. Please register for the event by 16 August 2019 at the link above.
The Alliance is inviting Child Protection and other sector humanitarian actors, researchers, policy maker, and donors to share their experience and groundbreaking ideas at the 2019 Annual Meeting and is now accepting abstracts that address the following, and related, issues:
- Building resilient child protection systems
- Social service workforce strengthening
- Peace-building
- Climate change
- Ending violence against children
- Refugee, IDPs and Migrant children
