Across the country, grandparents are caring for their grandchildren in increasing numbers. Family Resource Centers, which work with families in a multigenerational approach, have developed intentional programming to ensure that these grandparents are supported and strengthened.
ZERO TO THREE, a national organization whose mission is to ensure that all babies and toddlers have a strong start in life, conducted a national survey of grandparents who regularly provide care to children aged 5 and under. ZTT has also developed the Grandparent Resource Center, the Grandparents Who Care Literature Review and a partner toolkit to share grandparenting resources.
This webinar will present the research findings about grandparents, highlight work with grandparents from a Family Resource Center within a NFSN Member Network, and share resources available for multigenerational families and the professionals who support them.
