SOS Children’s Villages invites you to an online event on family support and child protection. The conference will take place on the 30th and 31st of October (09:00 – 13:00 CET/UTC+1) and will bring together state and non-state actors, policymakers, decision-makers, researchers, and practitioners to share new insights and learnings on the systems and interventions needed to strengthen families, provide adequate care for children, and prevent separation.
The conference will be conducted in English, with simultaneous translation into Russian and Arabic.
Submit an Abstract
The second day of the conference will be dedicated to sharing promising practices in strengthening families and protecting children. SOS Children’s Villages invites presenters from Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East to submit abstracts that:
- Showcase innovative interventions, case studies, (pilot) projects, effective policies, project evaluations, service models, scaled-up initiatives, advocacy efforts, or innovative methodologies related to the conference theme.
- Inspire and provide learning for the audience.
The active participation of young people, parents, and caregivers in the presentations is encouraged.
