ECDAN is recruiting six new Knowledge Fellows for 2023. Spread the word to young professionals who may qualify. Read more about the program and find the link to apply here. Applications are due April 1.
About the Program:
The ECDAN Knowledge Fellows program creates opportunities for early career ECD professionals from the Global South to receive professional development, mentorship, and networking connections while working on a project that advances ECDAN’s learning goals. This program launched in 2021 and is now in its third year. Our goal through this program is to encourage talented young professionals to invest in the ECD field and generate new understandings on topics related to ECDAN’s collaborative initiatives.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for the program, individuals must have received a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the past three years and not be enrolled in an academic program currently. Knowledge Fellows commit approximately ten hours a week for four to six months to complete a project that they co-create with ECDAN on a topic such as childcare, parenting support, outcome measurement, systems approach, or financing. Knowledge Fellows are paired with a seasoned ECD professional with expertise on the selected topic. The mentor provides supervision and support throughout the fellowship along with ECDAN’s Secretariat. Knowledge Fellows work remotely from anywhere in the world and do not require a working visa for any specific country.
