Family For Every Child is seeking an experienced researcher who demonstrates knowledge of a range of participatory tools and social research concepts/ approaches. The successful candidate will share the organiization’s passion for child protection and child rights and have experience of carrying out research with vulnerable children or those in difficult circumstances.
This role involves taking overall responsibility for Family for Every Child’s research work. The post holder will be expected to deliver the research projects articulated in the Research and Policy strategy and to adjust this strategy in line with member priorities.
The Research Manager will ensure that members have the capacity to carry out primary research, with a focus on qualitative and participatory tools. The Research Manager will also carry out or manage in-depth desk-based research, capturing key learning and identify gaps for further investigation. Currently projects in FFEC's research strategy include research on:
- Children’s reintegration
- The links between social protection and children’s care
- The links between education and children’s care
- Foster care
- The nature and importance of the family.
This role may be delivered from a home base and is not country specific.
