Maestral International is currently providing technical support to several multi-year children’s care reform initiatives. It is looking to add additional consultants to its external roster for consideration when future requests for technical assistance are received. It anticipates technical requests across a range of care system components such as workforce, financing, M&E, service delivery, policies and legislation.
It is interested in candidates who bring experience of engaging in global care reform efforts, and who also have in-depth understanding and experience of working in specific technical areas. These areas might include family strengthening and prevention of unnecessary separation (e.g. social service delivery / reform), family- and community-based alternative care (e.g. foster care for children with disabilities and high support needs), and transitioning and ending institutional care (e.g. case management for reintegration or strategic planning processes).
Although the Call is open to candidates from around the world, Maestral is particularly interested in candidates with experience in care reform or related areas in eastern Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific.
Maestral also encourages applications from candidates with lived experience of alternative care, recognizing this will be important to effective technical assistance.
