Applications for the upcoming cycle of the Master of Advanced Studies in Children's Rights (MCR) year 2019-2020, offered by the University of Geneva’s Centre for Children’s Rights Studies are now open!
The MCR, which started in 2003, is a unique and dynamic part-time postgraduate programme that provides the opportunity for full-time professionals to obtain a postgraduate qualification in children’s rights allowing students to pursue new and expanded opportunities within this emerging field.
The programme is held over a two-year period and will take place from February 2019 to November 2020. The curriculum is structured around seven teaching modules that, through lectures, workshops, seminars and roundtable sessions provide a solid theoretical and practical knowledge of children’s rights.
The focus is on current and emerging issues like migration, child labour, education, criminal justice, child protection strategies, and much more.
