In the Solomon Islands, a whole-of-nation approach has been launched to tackle escalating child protection challenges through the Child and Family Welfare System Multi-Sectoral Implementation Plan (2025–2030). Led by the Ministries of Health and Medical Services and Women, Youth, Children, and Family Affairs, and supported by UNICEF with funding from the Australian government, this plan brings together health, education, justice, social welfare, and community services to coordinate practical, measurable actions aligned with national policies—aiming to create safer environments and strengthen family wellbeing across the country.
