This issue of the BCN Newsletter is focused on care leavers. The issue includes a brief interview with Ruth Wacuka and Samora Asere of the Kenya Society of Care Leavers, who discuss their experiences in institutions in Kenya and how they've used those experiences to advocate for care reform. The issue also highlights the 'Prepare for Leaving Care' project, including the final project event at which care-experienced young people involved in the project shared their recommendations with more than 60 representatives of governments, NGOs, youth welfare services and universities at the final project roundtable in Brussels.
