What They Do
Friends-International Switzerland (FIS) protects children by creating safe and positive environments in which they can grow and thrive. FIS also supports young people on the margins by creating opportunities for their social and professional integration. FIS is part of the Friends-International alliance.
Through the ChildSafe Movement, FIS protects children, informs about the negative effects of institutionalization on their development and redirects support from European countries to programs that strengthen family structures and allow children to grow within their families and community.
