Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center ran from 2014-2020 in order to provide maximum assistance to all civilians of Donetsk and Luhansk regions affected by the military actions. Their main objective is to assist civilians, who have suffered during the conflict, as efficiently as possible and within the available resources. The Center’s aid must reach firstly those who need it the most (children, elderly and disabled people).

What They Do
Rinat Akhmetov Foundation's project "No to Orphanhood!" works to ensure the right of every orphan or any child deprived of parental care to be raised in a family by providing support (legal, psychological, social) for families that want to take a child into their family, to promote the creation of foster families and family-type homes. The project provides a National Adoption Portal which connects children with adoptive parents. The project also offers webinars with psychologists, trainings for adoptive parents, and assistance to family-type orphanages.
