Background: Associacao Missao Resplandecer (AMIRES) is a Civil Society Organization, headquartered in Duque de Caxias, Brazil, that was established in 1999.
What They Do: The Organization works with promotion and awareness campaigns for the prevention of STIs, as well as social assistance not only to people living with HIV / AIDS and their families, but also to residents in situations of social vulnerability in our surroundings. They seek through institutional actions, partnerships with private companies and / or public institutions, to strengthen public policies to combat and confront STIs and provide support to those living with HIV / AIDS.
