On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 8:30 to 10:00 am EST, the U.S. Government’s Advancing Protection and Care for Children in Adversity (APCCA) secretariat and D4I will host a webinar on “Advancing Protection and Care for Children in Adversity Learning Session –Strengthening the Social Service Workforce: Findings from a Cross-Country Assessment.”

USAID's Children in Adversity,

To recognize Social Work month in March (with March 19 as the commemorative day), the Advancing Protection and Care for Children in Adversity (APCCA) team would like to highlight the critical role that the social services workforce plays in the protection and care of children and families in communities. To achieve a world in which all children thrive within protective, loving families, free from deprivation, violence, and family separation, we must have effective, well-resourced social service and child-protection systems. And, at the heart of those systems is a strong social service workforce.
