The objectives of LAMb include:

  • To provide social workers with the necessary training and tools to enable them to help orphaned and abandoned children overseas;
  • To relieve poverty by providing basic amenities, including food and supplies to orphaned and abandoned children overseas;
  • To provide not-for-profit hospitals and clinics with medical and dental equipment;
  • To advance education by providing elementary school education to orphaned children overseas;
  • To assist in the adoption process of abandoned and orphaned children by designing and implementing a program model for Christian orphanages.

LAMb International plans to support transitions in all 32 countries in which we work. We have a vetting system for training and by using this vetting strategy, we work together with our partners to change paradigms, conduct assessments and do strategic planning for next steps. Our approach to supporting residential care centers to transition involves education, strategic planning and building partnerships.
