This page offers a Directory of Organizations working on children’s care issues around the world, at a local, national, regional, and/or global level. The Directory is provided to encourage information sharing and communication between actors working in this sector.

Please note that the inclusion or exclusion of organizations in this Directory does not necessarily entail any judgement or endorsement on the part of BCN or its advisory group on the quality of their programs or services. In line with BCN's Mission, criteria for adding an organization to the Directory include evidence of relevant work in the areas of family strengthening, prevention of separation, alternative care, reintegration and transition from care, care reform, and other relevant areas. We are continuing to expand our directory and welcome suggestions of additional organizations to highlight.

Zefie

Zefie is a care-focused organisation that provides individual, tailor-made support to strengthen children and families. Their work falls into three main areas:

Ziburio Fondas (Lighthouse Foundation Lithuania)

Žiburio Fondas (Lighthouse Foundation Lithuania) is non-governmental, non-religious, non-political and no profit organisation in Lithuania. The Foundation is a full member of the international European Lighthouse Foundations Network (under umbrella organisation Interpharus EMHÜ), uniting Foundations working with and for children and youth in several European countries.
