The main purpose of the Monitoring Report on the Decentralization Process of Social Services for 2020, is the reflection of the current situation on the full implementation of the decentralisation process of social services in Kosovo. COVID-19 and Children: How a Global Pandemic is Changing the Lives of Children in Albania and Kosovo
In this consultation,10 girls and 10 boys in Albania and Kosovo were interviewed and shared their views and experiences of the outbreak of COVID-19. Additionally, 515 girls and boys were surveyed to understand the impact of the pandemic on their lives. Child poverty in Europe was already unacceptably high before the COVID-19 virus outbreak. In 2018, one in four children in the European Union (EU) were already growing up at risk of poverty or social exclusion.
