RELAF (Latin American Foster Care Network, for the right to community and family- based care for children and adolescents) has promoted and supported the work of NGOs and governments to make the right of every child to live in a family and a community a reality since 2003.

The Children’s Unit at the Council of the Baltic Sea States Secretariat (CBSS) aims to create safe and secure environment for children in the Baltic Sea Region by initiating projects and cooperation on child rights and child protection issues, including out of home care for children, in the Baltic Sea Region and beyond.  

The Separated Children in Europe Programme (SCEP) is a European NGO-Network of 31 organisations from 28 European countries. The SCEP Network seeks to improve the situation of separated children through research, a shared policy and advocacy at national and regional levels. Age assessment, guardianship and durable solutions are the priority areas of SCEP. All the work of SCEP is based on the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Statement of Good Practice.

ChildPact is a network of networks that brings together 600 child-focused NGOs from 10 different countries in the wider Black Sea area to advocate for children’s rights and influence child-related policies. ChildPact strongly believes that all children currently living in institutions are entitled to alternative, community-based care and that physical punishment should be forbidden.

FI is an NGO that focuses on children’s empowerment in South East Asia and provides social services to marginalized urban children and families. They focus on several issues including child migration and child refugees, family separation, and more. FI runs the ChildSafe International initiative which combines advocacy and training to spread awareness about risks that marginalized children face, including campaigns to promote ethical volunteerism and tourism linked to children in orphanages.  

Formed in 2008, the AfricaWide movement for Children (AMC) is a Pan African Civil Society Organisation providing a continental platform for child focussed NGOs, development agencies and individuals to collectively work on initiatives for the protection and development of Africa's Children.  

Firelight Foundation is a private foundation that works through grassroots organisations to support families and communities to care for children who are orphaned by or affected by HIV/AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa.  

The African Child Policy Forum an independent, not-for-profit pan-African institution of policy research and dialogue, that works through the Child and the Family Programme to promote policies and programmes that strengthen families and protect children from violence.
