Family Care First (FCF) is a United States Agency for International Development (USAID) supported project with the goal of making lasting improvements in the well-being of Cambodia’s children. FCF assists children outside of family care or those at risk of losing family care. This study aims to provide a brief mapping and summary of existing knowledge on alternative care and deinstitutionalisation in Central and South America.
