Child Protection System Strengthening Framework for Action

Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children

The Child Protection System Strengthening Framework for Action was launched at the first Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children on 8 November 2024.

Strong and inclusive child protection systems are one of the most cost-effective and sustainable ways to prevent violence against children while also ensuring that those who have been harmed can be supported to thrive. Robust child protection systems can also provide the architecture to scale the implementation of the INSPIRE strategies for violence prevention, reduction, and response.

This framework aims to strengthen child protection systems globally by promoting a cohesive approach to preventing and responding to violence against children in all contexts.

We call upon states, donors, civil society organisations, and other key stakeholders to endorse the Child Protection System Strengthening Framework for Action to demonstrate a unified, global commitment to strengthen child protection systems for ALL children in ALL contexts.
