Family Strengthening
Assistance provided to families with the aim of strengthening their ability to provide nurturing care to their children. Family strengthening initiatives aim to increase families’ strengths, resilience and protective factors, and by doing so promote healthy child development and minimise the risk of separation and recourse to alternative care.
