National Strategies and Action Plans
National Strategies or Action Plans are strategic plans designed by governments to guide action, and often the allocation of resources, over a specified period of time and towards the fulfilment of a policy objective. With respect to care and child protection, national action plans are often developed to guide the implementation of care reforms and may include deinstitutionalisation targets.
