KUALA LUMPUR: At least 4% of children, aged between 12 and 17, who use the Internet in Malaysia are subjected to online sexual exploitation and abuse, reveals a report by the United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef).

This is the beginning of three virtual presentations on country examples of family reintegration, starting with Rwanda and Cambodia as part of the Task Force on Family Reunification and Reintegration on the Transforming Children's Care Global Collaborative Platform. 

In this video, Kinnected Myanmar Senior Social Worker, Htoo Say, describes the nature of patron-client relationships and gives examples of how they influence the participation of directors and families in the reintegration process. In addition, she shares critical insights into how the Kinnected Myanmar social workers learnt to navigate these relationships to facilitate children’s reintegration and promote their best interests.
