This World Bank report provides a first comprehensive review of global data for young people who were under the age of 25 during the pandemic. It shows that the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted human capital accumulation at critical moments in the life cycle, derailing development for millions of children and young people in low- and middle-income countries.
Children are invited to complete the Children and Young People’s online questionnaire that will help shape the general comment on children’s rights and the environment with a special focus on climate change from 15 November 2022 to 15 February 2023.
The report’s objective is to promote the use of these data to make children with disabilities more visible, bringing about a fuller understanding of their life experiences.
